EditRoast provides editorial feedback and proofreading services for manuscript authors. Each paid order includes three sequential rounds of full editorial review and proofreading. The first Editorial Feedback Report, Proofreading Notes, and synopsis are delivered to your email address within 24–48 hours after payment is confirmed and the complete manuscript is securely received.
By submitting a manuscript to EditRoast, you confirm that:
We treat your manuscript as confidential. We do not sell, publish, or share your manuscript with any third party for their own purposes. Our review process uses AI-assisted editorial tools; these operate as data processors under our instructions and are contractually prohibited from using your content for training or any other independent purpose. Your work remains yours.
We deliver the first review within 24–48 hours after both payment confirmation and secure receipt of the complete manuscript. Two further full review and proofreading rounds are included for revised versions submitted within 30 days of the first upload. In rare cases of technical issues or high volume, delivery may be delayed — we will notify you promptly.
Payments are processed by Polar, our Merchant of Record. Full details are in our Refund Policy. In short: if we fail to deliver the first review within 72 hours after payment confirmation and secure receipt of the complete manuscript, you are entitled to a full refund. If you are unsatisfied with the review, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will work to address your concerns.
Our review is editorial feedback — an assessment of your manuscript's strengths and areas for improvement. It is not:
Your manuscript and all creative work within it remain entirely your intellectual property. EditRoast claims no rights to your work. Our editorial reports are provided for your personal use in connection with your manuscript.
EditRoast's liability is limited to the amount paid for the service. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use of our service.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
