EditRoast provides editorial feedback and proofreading services for manuscript authors. When you purchase a review, you receive an Editorial Feedback Report and Proofreading Notes delivered to your email address within 24–48 hours of manuscript receipt.
By submitting a manuscript to EditRoast, you confirm that:
We treat your manuscript as confidential. We do not sell, publish, or share your manuscript with any third party for their own purposes. Our review process uses AI-assisted editorial tools; these operate as data processors under our instructions and are contractually prohibited from using your content for training or any other independent purpose. Your work remains yours.
We deliver reviews within 24–48 hours of receiving your complete manuscript. Delivery time begins when we receive your manuscript file, not when payment is processed. In rare cases of technical issues or high volume, delivery may be delayed — we will notify you promptly.
Payments are processed by Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record. Full details are in our Refund Policy. In short: if we fail to deliver within 72 hours of receiving your manuscript, you are entitled to a full refund. If you are unsatisfied with the review, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will work to address your concerns.
Our review is editorial feedback — an assessment of your manuscript's strengths and areas for improvement. It is not:
Your manuscript and all creative work within it remain entirely your intellectual property. EditRoast claims no rights to your work. Our editorial reports are provided for your personal use in connection with your manuscript.
EditRoast's liability is limited to the amount paid for the service. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use of our service.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
